Non-Compete Agreements

Generally, if the terms of the non-compete agreement are reasonable, a Minnesota Court will generally enforce a non-compete agreement. To determine what is reasonable, factors must be analyzed, such as the duration of the restriction, the geographic scope of the restriction, the scope of work that is being restricted, and whether the non-compete is narrowly tailored to protect the legitimate business needs of a company. We have successfully worked with businesses and individuals in evaluating and enforcing or challenging the terms of the non-compete. Please contact us for a free consultation.
