Racial Discrimination

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prevents employers from discriminating against employees on the basis of race, National origin, or ethnicity.  Regardless of the size of the company you work for, You have a right to be free from racial discrimination, and enjoy workplace where you are not targeted for adverse employment action based on your race, ethnic background, or national origin.  Yet unfortunately, racial discrimination, whether overt, open, and obvious, or subtle discrimination which tends to target members of a particular race is still present in Minnesota.

At Gilbert Alden Barbosa, we have represented employees of all racial and ethnic backgrounds in claims involving allegations of discrimination based on race, ethnic background, National origin, or immigration status.  While most settlements are confidential, and cannot be disclosed, we have successfully resolved employees’ claims against companies both large and small.
